- Jason Gwerder Added February 24, 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My partner and i had dinner here on Monday 23rd January 2017. We were very disappointed. We have had meals here many years ago and remember the meals being great quality. We ordered the scotch fillet steak special with mashed potato. The steak was virtually impossible to chew being so tough. My partner couldnt chew hers. The steak was served on top of the mashed potato which was watery. Not how mashed potato should be. My partner went home to her Mother's place and had to eat a plate of food due to this meal being of low quality. We love Casterton and its a friendly place but this meal for 56 dollars for the two of us was unacceptable. The next day we had lunch at Entwined and the meals were delicious. We are writing this review to help you improve your service. Thank you.
